“In May 2013, 20-year-old Vatchareeya Bangsuan disappeared from Boden without a trace while on a jogging trip.
About two weeks later, it became clear that she was dead when Missing people and the military found body parts scattered in the woods. The autopsy showed that she had been stabbed to death and that her body had been dismembered.
Blood traces linked her 22-year-old ex boyfriend Kristoffer Johansson to the crime, who was sentenced to 14 years in prison for murder in the district court. The court of appeal then lowered the sentence to ten years in prison.
Now five years have passed – and Kristoffer Johansson, who started the prison sentence, has now been transformed into the woman Kim Marie Johansson. Being a woman is a feeling that has been with her since she was like five years old, she says in the documentary “In the Head of a Murderer – Kim Marie Johansson”, broadcast on TV3 on Thursday, October 11th.
“I use hormone patches for estrogen hormones, and I take testosterone blockers for the testosterone, as I go through a sex correction process,” says Kim Johansson to TV3 Documentary.
Kim Johansson has been granted permission to visit Anova in Stockholm, which conducts an assessment and provides hormone treatment therapy in connection to sex reassignment surgery.
During all of her years in prison she has been in the Class 1 section, the highest security class reserved for male prisoners only.
One month ago, the Swedish Prison and Probation service took the decision to potentially allow Kim Johansson to be transferred to a women’s prison, either to the Hinseberg facility or to the one in Ystad. The case report, which Expressen has read, says:
“The Norrtälje Institution has initiated a reassessment of the special conditions applicable to Kim Johansson’s enforcement in connection to the currently on-going sex correction surgery of Kim Johansson.”
Attorney Jan Kyrö, the legal representative of Kim Johansson, says no-one has been moved from the Norrtälje facility yet, but discussions have been held about a future move to Hinseberg.
“It’s not that she minds men – her desire to move to a women’s prison is a consequence of her sex change. She loves her new role. I’m not a psychologist, but I get the feeling she has found herself, says Kyrö.
During long periods of time last year, Kim Johansson chose to be separated from the other prisons in Norrtälje. A case document states:
“Johansson is afraid of his own health as he is considered to be devious and odd and has been called a “tattle fag” (golbög). The other inmates think he talks too much with the staff and acts strangely. Conversations have been had with Johansson and his fear appears genuine.“
During her time in prison, Kim Johansson has been guilty of repeated misconduct. It has resulted in 34 formal warnings, mainly for work refusal, but also because of for example unauthorized drug possession.
At the start of her prison sentence, the Prison and Probation service compiled a risk profile and reach the conclusion that the risk that Kim Johansson would commit acts of violence and threaten others was high.
”Things worthy of note include the nature of their crime, their interest in weapons, warfare and explosives, their ability to function personality-wise with inadequate emotional resources, inflexible thinking patterns, a vulnerability to stress and a difficulty to deal with social interactions.“ says the Risk Profile.
Johansson may be conditionally released from prison on January 24, 2020.”
A lot of fans did not like that Hiro and Tadashi were portrayed as being mixed race. It’s like these studios are pretending to give us diversity but instead of going all in, they throw us this whitewashed, mixed race mess. No. Go all in. All or nothing. This isn’t real diversity. This is so big film execs can pat themselves on the back and all-white fandoms can feel good about how ‘diverse’ they are. Stop it.
Fun Fact: Mixed race kids actually exist. And more and more kids are born belonging to two or more races every day because of how many different races exist in America and the fact that interracial couples are becoming more widely accepted.
A lot of those mixed race kids will grow up being told that they’re not black/asian/hispanic enough because they’re half white or half something else. They’ll be teased and mocked for taking part in their own culture because they’re “only half”. They might even receive negative treatment from one or both sides of their extended family because of what race the other side of their family is.
More and more interracial couples are getting married in the US. More and more mixed race kids are being born. People need to learn to start understanding that being mixed race doesn’t make you “not enough”. Mixed race kids are both and they are neither. And they are becoming the norm.
You think being mixed race isn’t real diversity? I am half Italian, half Puerto Rican. I grew up with two incredibly different, vibrant cultures in my household. I listened to Pavarotti in my dad’s car and Salsa music in my mom’s. For dinner, we eat my abuelita’s arroz con gandules and my bisnonna’s homemade spaghetti. To me, being half and half is incredible. I got to experience an entire culture that I would’ve never learned about if I’d been only Italian or only Puerto Rican.
When a character is mixed race they are not more and they’re not less. They are who they are. People thinking that mixed race characters/families are less important than single race characters/families is incredibly ignorant as well as harmful to the many mixed race children in the world who will grow up thinking that they are worth less than their single race friends.
Terfs are so weird, they call themselves feminists but then say it’s about ‘uniting females’ when in reality feminism is about achieving equality of the sexes.
It’s about female liberation
The literal definition of feminism is “advocacy of women’s rights focused on equality of the sexes”.

That’s a sanitized version. Equality would be women going out and joining the police in equal numbers and killing black people. But you’re claiming we’re about uniting women. I as a radfem am telling you it’s about liberation, which is what most radfems will actually say
Radical feminism went to shit when political lesbians got involved, equality wouldn’t be more women going in to the police force and killing black people, equality would be more women going in to the police force and the police force not killing black people at all (not necessarily because of the women, they should just not be murdering people anyway)
And we use equality a lot as a synonym for equity, equity is treating everyone fairly and equality is treating everybody the same

Of course it’s much more complicated which is why we have intersectional feminism, but look at this graph. The goal would of course be to have the women’s bar at the same level as the men’s bar, to do this we need equity. Men are already up there so we focus on women and when women are up there women will be equal with men. Equality.
So feminism focuses on fighting for women’s rights with sub-focuses on other axis of oppression and the end goal being equality for all.
